Alfamation developed its RF and wireless test solutions with the company's technology partner WisyTech, a spin-off of Politecnico di Milano and National Research Council. WiSyTech was founded in 2006 by Professor Umberto Spagnolini, reknowned RF technology expert and professor at the Dipartimento di Elettronica e Informazione at Politecnico di Milano; Professor Vittorio Rampa, Senior Researcher at the National Research Council of Italy, and Mauro Arigossi, founder and CEO of Alfamation. WisyTech specializes in the development of IP products for up and down RF and IF converters for MIMO systems, I&Q imbalance compensation, and standardized optical interfaces (CPRI and OBSAI).
